Well, the hooks are pretty strong and i couldn't get them to bend.  So i just took most of the air out the tire and put a new locking washer on and took it for a ride, it's still tight as can be.

Ryan K, To put a 20" tire back there, just cut off the bottom hooks completely.

if it falls off again see me well fix that shit with a drill press

the mount for the spare kit my wheel never ever ever in a lifetime fall off after i drilled the mounting plate
