looking for the specific years of caprice spindles to work on my 87 monte, i have some out of a 91 caprice available for next to nothing, will they work or no??? thanks. :cool:

yes they will....


just remove the ABS sensors from the spindles and you're good to go...

are they drop spindles or just stronger or ... ?

thank you very much man, i got the spindles, calipers and rotors for $70 for both sides, building a street hopper ;)

i got em on my regal. For the g-body all u have to do is throw caddy uppers which are 1 inch longer than stock g-body arms n caprice spindles n ur good to go! :cool:

i'm gonna extend and reinforce my stock uppers, which makes me think, will the spindles effect my wheel angle????? i was planning on extending my arms 1"

the spindles will not affect wheel angle...all they are is a lil bit longer than a g body spindle so you can pack more coil into the car... but make sure you have spindles with the smaller rotor size or you will have to grind the calipers to make 13's fit if thats the way you are goin....

the caprices had 2 different sizes... the police package and station wagons had a larger rotor.. 12" i believe where as most coupes and sedans has the 11" rotor

you brought up a good point


caprice came with two different sized brakes....


the 11 inch rotor

and the 12 inch rotor...


the spindles that use 11 inch rotors will fit 13's
