for the last few weeks the car's taking a hell of a long time to warm up, even on a warm day :p... like, a good 5 minutes before it starts idling right and before the thick white smoke stops coming out of the exhaust

and today i started it in the afternoon (i'd driven it in the morning) and black smoke (not THICK black smoke, but black nonetheless) started pouring out, and the car started coughing up black stuff onto the pavement, ... like spitting it out.

what could it be?

sounds like a choke problem...the choke could be coming off to late causing the engine to run way rich (black smoke)
