im no expert but basically it hooks to the middle of the car stopping upward movement lower than the cylinders can push it...you dump one side and pump the other....when the chain stops and the cylinders keep extending it pivots and pushes the extending side of the car up...

SO BASICLY WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS IF YOU DONT HAVE ENOUGH WIEGHT IN YOUR TRUNK TO PUSH ONE SIDE OF THE CAR DOWN ALL THE WAY THEN YOU NEED A BRIDGE.

you dont need a chain bridge to pull a standing 3 in all cars..it will help in any car..with the car pivoting it forces that side up alot higher in turn giver you a much higher 3 wheel..if you like 3 wheeling i suggest installing one ;)

check this: I gotta 84 Cutty 2 pumps 8 batts if I install a chain bridge I can stand a 3? with no 3rd pump?

If you have an 84 cutt, you should be able to get her to 3 easy. I did alot of those. Raise all four up, dump back right corner. When parked just push the rear left bumper and it should want to teater on a three.

im not sure if you need a bridge or not with a cutty...its all weight and cylinders in both...with a bridge and a 3rd pump you will get a higher 3 wheel but 3 pumps and bridges arent needed in all vehicles...

10 inchers in the ass with 8 batts 2 pumps is cake. full tank of gas too, haha.

14's in the back 8 batts 3 pumps bridged and riding on fumes... :biggrin:
