If your ball snaps, it saves your rim and tire usually., doesnt endanger pther drivers, and keeps that spring in the pocket :0

I would say more so to keep the balljoints from breaking in the first place....if the tension is just right.

the chains are already made when you buy them from the store, all you have to do is cut them the lenght that you need

Seriously, how is the length figured that you need to put on the car?

Raise your Car all the way up in the front then BAAAAAAAAARRRRRLEY Tap it down just for where the suspension isn't quite locked up fully and chain it there
