Is it possible without taking the whole wheel apart?

I am asking this because I got some 20" gold spokes for a hell of a deal (20" wheels with tires for $600), but I dont' want them gold... So can I strip the gold and paint the spokes somehow without pulling the whole wheels apart?

:dunno:

Any info will help!

There is a product that used to be called "Colored Spokes."

It is like strong staws that have a slit runnig down the center and you can wrap your spokes in that.
I do not know if they still exsist. Go to yahoo and look. ;)

Thanks for the help guys... I was thinking about the straws, but they might be too light and rip off when driving (daily driver)...

As for the trade, thats ok, I don't want orange either...
