I have a 1985 Chevy S-10 Rear wheel drive with a 2.7 liter V6 stock and the tranny went on this truck now was wondering if I can replace the tranny with a nice 350R Trans that I had on my 327 V8 is there any kind of bolt patter adapter for this to work?

wish I could tell U, I know I had a 88 s 10 with a 4.3 and stuck a turbo 350 trans in it but had to cut the ear off the housing so the exhaust could fit by it.

In one word

YES

it is no problem unless you are dealing with Pontiac/olds versus Chevy bolt patterns

in other words

Chevy+Chevy=good
Chevy+pontiac=not as good
