as long as it takes to get the chrome raising off the rims.
spray on, come back in an hour, if not started to raise,
wait another hour. should do it. works pretty fast.

chrome will strip off a LOT quicker then paint will.

yeah. i stripped a all chrome 1:25 bike and it took a few hours,
but that crap was stubborn. guess it depends on materials and stuff.

another tip for you mrhopper,
use one of those small plastic medicine jars with the screw on cap,
should be perfect.

cool. pics. :biggrin:
if you want chrome on the spokes only or something,
you can always split the rim in the middle and strip only that part.
