Chrome under the hood....

I just picked up a 91 Brougham, it has a 5.0 V8 (305) but it is also tbfi, no carb. I am looking to brighten it up a bit under the hood and every place I have talked to has told me that the chrome accesories for a chevy 305 will fit any other GM 305 except mine. Is my only option to take everything I want chrome and have it shipped off to the chrome shop this winter? If anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it very much..
