DOES ANYONE OUT THERE CHROME FULL GAS TANKS. BEEN CHECKING AROUND AND CAN'T FIND NOBODY TO DO IT. I NEED A 65 TANK CHROMED.

some places wont chrome a used tank. theywill only chrome a brand new tank

yup I had to buy a new one to get it chromed, Anyone know how to clean the tank out once your get it back? I hear what sounds like dust and crap in it.

if you want me to chrome your tank I can 600 includes a new tank obvioulsy and on a 65 it would be less if we only polish the side that shows but thats your call. Tanks have to be new obviously and ALOT of shops dont like or want to do them.

take it to a radiator shop and have them boil and seal the inside. The chrome process strips all the coatings inside and they start to rust quick.

btw Beautiful Chrome and still an affordable price :thumbsup:

u got any close up pics of regular steel hydraulic fittings. i got a box full of fittings 4 dump bodies, and 2 slow downs i need to get done in show quality finish

Do you have to drill a hole in it so it will submerge in the tank correctly?I seen a tank done that way
