i would think it would be just the caliper housing, then once you get it back you need to hone the chrome out of the bore, and get a caliper rebuild kit with a new boot, seal and maybe piston.

I had the calipers on my ride take apart, before I sent them out to get plated.

Yea I took mine apart too,you can get them chromed but they might stick.I have a pair for riding and a pair for show.If they are triple dipped the heat should not effect them.

Bleed youre brakes really good,and you should be ok,unless the piston is stuck from the plating.

thanx man for the advice i took brake fluid and cleaned them out real good before reaaembly, so they where clean with no sand or nuthin from the chromer i had another guy tell me its prob air too so ill check that fo sho
