I know this has been asked so many times, but how do you get in between those spokes?? I have eagle one chrome and wire cleaner but i need some kind of cloth that will get in those spokes. I heard there is a product from Mother that is some kind os cloth ball that gets in there without scratching the chrome?? i dont know any suggestions? Toothbrush is a stupid idea!

i just took my car to teh car wash sprayed soem eagle one cleaner let it set and with the hose wash it off and it left them clean even teh back one
ppl say use a small, soft bristle paint brush. but i always just used my wheel cleaner and a soft bristle tire cleaning brush and mine always got pretty clean
i use a regular paint brush..the same type for painting a house along with eagle one and works perfect
so how do u use the eagle one with a paint brush ? i just bought some. do you put it on with the brush or put it on with a cloth and wipe it off with a brush or what? and whats the best way to get behind the spokes to clean the hub?

For the hub, the eagle one cleans it good but if you just let it dryafter you rinse them off, then i always get spots, so if i have the time i just use compressed air to get em dry so they stay shiny.
is the eagle one a cream like the mothers? if so how do you get it on the hub good and get it back off?

did u buy polish?? i dont think u should use polish in chinas, i herd it strips the chrome off
polishing them wont strip the chrome, just an urban legend.
i used cotton swabs..took awhile but was worth it
what i did was wet the wheel first after i pulled it off the car spray front and back of the rim with eagle one and used a small detail brush with soft bristles. cleaned pretty good. then i used some compressed air to get the water out in between the spokes. finshed the rim off with invisble glass. just what i do and i didn't take long at all

I use both of these: Eagle One A2Z all wheel cleaner, or Black magic no scrub wheel cleaner. They are both spray on like windex that you just spray on with the wheels dry and let sit for about 30 seconds and then spray off with a hose or pressure washer. then blow off the hub with compressed air when done washing the car. It breaks down the dirt and brake dust and it washes away. When my wheels get bad after riding all winter, i use this spray on acid stuff the exact same way, but its some strong stuff that will burn if it gets on your skin. It will take most all the grime off. Then for any surface rust thats leftover, i use Naval Jelly rust dissolver with a toothbrush(says its not for chrome on the bottle though), and then polish them up with Noxon metal polish(best polish i've used and is also good at getting rid of surface rust).
buy the eagle one wire wheel cleaner"spray bottle" ,you spray on and after about 30 seconds you use high pressure water and then your wire wheels will be flawless. :puffin: no need for all the other stuff.
well i bought that eagle one chrome wire cleaner shit in the bottle. I gotta say shit looks clean as hell. thx for recomending that
my favorite shit is the Dupont teflon wheel cleaner. i just spray it on, let it sit for likie 15 secs, hit it wit a tire brush and spray it off. it does a real good job of repeling the dirt and dust too
ya dust seems to stick to my shit bad
I use a soft tipped brush in the car wash section. Fill a bucket with soap and water. Dip the brush in...and I start brushn wit care. I dont really care how long it takes. As long it cleans off the brake dust and it shines the dish. then I grab a towel and wipe til everything is dry. after I that I spray some of that glass/chrome cleaner in the spray metal cans. Keeps the the dish gleaming for awhile til the brake dust collects, then U know to repeat the process....
how well do the brake dust covers work? I might buy some
