i found a non-scrubbing, no-effort, 100% effective way to clean white walls....... a member of our car club told me that.....

if you get............

a rag......

and...............

some..............................

WD-40, spray the rag first, and wipe the whitewall with it..... DONT spray it directly on the tire... because the acid in the spray will eventually eat thru some spots in the rubber........

this may not work on reeaaallly dirty tires, but so far, its worked on all of mine....

for the record, i give this method>>>

I accidently found out that turtle wax's chrome polish, the one that comes in the little white bottle cleans them really good. Take a clean rag and dab a little on the white wall and everything comes off real easy. Looks brand new and doesnt make the tire crack or anything. No side effects. Your tires do smell like the polish but its not a bad smell...
