i have a 91 s10 and ive never owned or worked anything with hydraulics before but i noticed my rear coil spring is sitting about an inch lower on one side the spring went over the cap of the cylinder the other side the spring is on the cap does this mean my spring broke or did my cylinder cap wear out thanks

if the cylinder collar was the only thing holding the spring, then yea either it or the spring (or both) wore down. seems like there should be a donut in use there.

btw if you need 10" skinny cylinders i have some chrome ones for sale

i have no idea i just bought it i was told it was built like 20 years ago
You need something called a coilover cup, the video below goes into some detail you should know. The cups differ between cylinder size to make sure you get the rite size.

If you need hydraulic equipment "Hoppos" and "Black Magic Hydraulics" have all the equipment you would need. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
