I know it's probrably a dumb question , but how do you go about putting a 100 spoke knockoff wheel into a continental kit and retain the tilting hardware? Anybody know?
I used a grinder with a small plate (the plate was only like 4 inches wide.)
First I cut some of the silicon seal inside the rim with a razor. This is good because you can see where you are going to cut.
I cut the rim from the outside, not from the inside where all the chrome is.
I am only this far too. I've only cut the rim and haven't welded the brackets yet.
But your idea looks good... But I still don't understand how that will hold the rim.
