Sorry this is a bit off topic...who makes the convertible '65 Impala?...don't want to CONVERT the '65 coupe.
can you tell me exactly how you did that?Originally posted by Majestics Pablo@Aug 6 2003, 11:37 AM
you can use a Nomad top to help you make a wagon. Thats what I did for my '58 wagon, the only thing that I didn't do was check up on the rear end to see if the rear lights were different from a wagon. Then again, I don't recall seeing a '58 wagon!!! Sorry the pic is small, and a bit outta focus, but its old. I'll see if I can barrow someone's camera and take some upclose pics.

Wasn't the 60 wagon the last of the 2 doors??? nomad que no'? I could be wrong though.
what are posts and you also cut out the trunk but how bout the opening in the trunk/the back and what gap did you cover?like the trunk right?can you post a pic of it?Originally posted by Majestics Pablo@Aug 6 2003, 01:37 PM
I used the roof and posts off the '55 Nomad, I cut the top off the '58 Impala like you would to make it a convertable. A little bit of sheet plastic to cover the gap, and smoothed it out. Wasn't much to it, pretty simple, LRB had a article about something close to it, makin'g a sedan roadster or something like that adding the top from a Delivery Truck to a Roadster.
ok thanks man but I cant see the pic when can you get the rest?Originally posted by Majestics Pablo@Aug 6 2003, 02:38 PM
I used the posts off the Nomad, and yes I did cut out the trunk off the Impala, but I did not completely cut it off.
