I'm planning some tunes in my 86 cutlass. 2 12's in the truck 2 amps a crossover and a ipod hook up (no headunit) My question is has anyone cut the back panels (interior quarter panels) and put one 6x9 on each side?? the back deck looks way to small THANKS! :cool:

I've seen then cut into both up high and right above the arm rest also.
I have these in my regal and they work just fine. I think cutting a hole in the side panels looks tacky, in my opinion. I like building fiberglass pods on the side, I think it looks better. :cool:

Nothing like hacking a huge ass hole into the interior :( I think i might glass in a set of components on the rear shelf some day maybe some 5 1/2"
