i hear everyone talking about cutting out the X part in the middle of the frame? what does this do and does anyone have pictures of this done before? also would it not lose support and has anyone had problems after doing this? i just bought a 64 and am starting to work on it and need to know what to do for the hydraulics. hit me up with what you got.

not cutting out the x part, -notching it a few inch to make sure the driveshaft dont grind against it when you drive on 3 or locked up.

but when you do this notch make sure to wrap up the x real good so it wont twist...
