I have A 62 impala Iwas thinking of air bags, but I was wondering if you have to do any cutting to the frame like you do with hydros. Im trying not cut if I do not have to! My 2nd question is are there any kits for old school impalas. I want to frt, back, coners and if I can 3 wheel.

you dont have to cut the frame with hydros. You only drill 4 holes....

yes there are kits for it.

3 wheeling isnt going to be in your future. You need fram reinforcing for that, and its quite difficult with off the shelf bag kits.

you can 3 wheel, but it will be a rolling 3 only. Unless you go through the trouble of figuring out the whole weight issue in the rear. And no you don't need to reinforce the frame at all. I do a lot of rolling 3's in my truck and there's no reinforcement what so ever. As far as off the shelf kits, yes you can still do it with those.
I pieced mine together from scratch (I don't like getting kits). As far as kits though, my suggestion is to just piece it together, I have been looking around and noticed a shit load of kits that have decent materials, but the tank sizes are retarded. 5 gal. and below, your not going to get any play time (for me I didn't), if you go about 7 gal. or up, you get some decent play time. Slap a Oasis or York, and you'll be playing for days!! just my 2¢

When I say he wont be three wheeling, I mean its not as easy as he thinks. You guys know what you are doing and are pulling threes. You cant expect a newb(no offense) to throw a kit together and hit 3s. There is a science to it.

You are in a truck, not a 45 year old car.

sorry, I gave you too much credit. You are a very dumb bastard. I have tried, didnt come close. I have watched others try, nothing close. I have seen a few with thier shit together do it nicely. And now, one dumb bastard do it.

you can't be serious.
Whats the hard part? A non rusty truck vs a car that has a 90% chance of having rot in.......Have you guys never watched door gaps on a non reinforced 61-64 when doing a 3 wheel or individual corner?? I have seen plenty of bone stock trucks do it with tight gaps. If you wanna talk shit, get a clue jackass. Lets see what you actually own.

I have...
59 2dr ht
59 vert
60 vert
61 vert
62 2dr ht
63 vert x 2
64 vert x 2
64 2dr ht x 4

some juiced, some bagged.
