ok, my cylinders i bought are used, and supposedly have new o-rings in them. when i turn the cylinder vertical (the same way it would go in the frame) the shaft slides down fast and extends all the way. is the shaft suppose to come out like this? please let me know!!! thanks ~JO$H~

You won't know till you get them on the car. Or you could just hook it up in the vice and pressurize it. (BE CAREFUL) if you do that though.

It sounds like they are gone to me. If they slide out with no pressure, if you hooked them up and put 2,000psi to them, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't like it too much.

I'd have to agree, they should have some resistance when you turn it upside down
