From my own personal experience with two 1961 Bubbletops


Real Daytons will clear skirts ONLY when lower and stock suspension height. If the car receives attention to the suspension (i.e. Hydraulics, Air Ride) then you will certainly need to narrow the rear axle 1".

The tires tend to cut into the skirts when lifted at normal height and locked up positions, Turning they can and will rub from shifting or sway on 14x7" daytons with 175/70/14.

Without skirts, of course there is no problem.
