I can't get my break hoses to stop leaking on the rear calipers I did the Seville swap I bought the hoses from cpp Anyone know what I can do to stop the leak??

Anyone have this problem ? How tight do u tighten the bolts ?

The hose might be upside down against caliper, also r u using copper washers

Yes am using two washers .....bolt .washer banjo . Washer caliper ...

New washers, tighten.

Try flipping the hose over. You shouldnt have to ass tighten brake lines to the point of almost stripping. Something isnt right

Should the bolt have any play in the hose or should it be snug ?

The same hose an blot I installed in the driver side seems to be fine just the passenger side keeps leaking

Look at the mounting surface. I have same Callipers one leaked as well cause the metal was not cast properly and it didn't seal.

It should get tight very easily should not be loose at all.

Should be a seal washer on each side of the line

if your brake line are flipped over on the caliper they will leak. i went thru this. tighten bolt so much that is rounded it off, still leaked, had to use vise grips. couldnt figure out why it leaks. flipped over the hose so the other surface is on the caliper and tighten a new bolt with minimal effort and no more leak. and as state above u need copper washer on each side of the bolt, dont double stack the washers. no thread sealant.

So the actual hose banjo don't sit on caliper ? I put a coper washer in between ?
