So, I have an Explorer that I may want to put draulics on. Which type of setup give you the ability to hop and drive and 3-wheeling? I think I have read up here, 3 pumps and 8 batteries. I was looking at this kit: http://www.xtremehydraulics.com/kits.html (the 4 pump) but its 4 pumps. Will it do the same as 3 or more. and I think 4 pumps uses 16 batteries, right? If anybody can think of a better setup, plz post it.

a 4 pump can "do" more moves, but also is not needed for what you are describing
The number of batteries determine both how high the car wil hop AND the lasting time of the batteries, 8-10 batteries is normal running the nost at 72V
4 pumps do not need 16 batteries and probably would struggle with that many batteries, you are talking almost a ton of battery weight, I dont think the pumps would appreciate that, even at 72 or 96V
and if its 4wd, scrap the project entirely.
