when ever i try to move the car the drive shaft rubs.the part that comes out of the transmision is grinding in the crossmember.and it does it with the car up or down or at regular ride height.now i think its the center bushing but i wanted to get a second or third opinion.if it is the center bushing is it hard to replace. thanks for any help on this. :cool: o-yeah its an 83 caddy coupe deville

Are you sure its not the u-joints?

the only thing that can be grinding is the u joints,,,,,any thing else can be a bad tranny mount bushing gone bad,making the body rub

somtimes if the tranny mount goes bad the thanny will shift down an inch or to causing the driveshaft front u-joint to hit the cross member. sht happen to me
