and what kind of coats should I use...
primer first and then spray the paint?

Any help is greatly appreciated... :cool:

As long as you Prep the Block real good it shouldn't matter what kind of paint you use. (No Spray cans) It just depends on what you want your engine to look like. Kandy, Base-Coat whatever you want. I've always thought just a House of Kolor Orion Silver Base with Clearcoat over it would make the engine stand out more than anything. Plus if you ever repaint your car you won't have to change the color of the engine to match. ;)

SEAL IT...WITH ETCHING PRIMER SO IT STICKS GOOD,,,,,OR USE DP90 PPG SEALER....CAUSE YOU DON'T NEED YOUR SHIT TO BE FLAKING OFF
