whatdoes that mean? i have lost my book.
i put my juice on the car and went over some good bumps and the cd quit playing and the face said error-11, and error-12. can i fix this? if not, is there a better head unit to use that wont do this shit? ive been happy with pioneer and i would buy another one but i dont this to happen again. thanks for any helpful replys.

I'm pretty sure if you get code 11,12,or 17, it means it is either dirty or the cd is scratched and the laser can't focus. You need to either wipe off the dirt, or try another cd.

i have tried cleaning it, alot. and i can put a new cd in it and it takes a minute and then the error comes back on. i dont know which one it is. its about 2 years old, i havent looked at the number

have you cleaned the eye of the laser?? That is what i meant would be dirty.
