Ive always used ppg's k36 high build surfacer, but my buddy is trying to turn me on to
Evercoat's Feather Fill surfacer. I haven't had the chance to work with it or see the difference yet. Anyone ever use the feather fill ??? Good or bad aspects of it?

I use slick sand, feather fill sands like crap, I block the crap out of it in 180 220, then prime with K36 and block out.

is it just to much effort to block flat in a reasonable amount of time or what?

I just do not like the way it sands, I prefer slick sand over it anyday, with either you want to reduce it 5% and use a gun with atleast a 2.5 tip, IMO.

I have used feather fill and it works alright for me. Normally I sand it with 150 then prime with K36 and it works just fine. I spray it with a 2.0 or 2.2.
