Okay, I've started driving my cutlass again recently, and it's been doing good. However, yesterday I noticed it's began to idle really high/fast whatever the right word is. It sounds like I'm pressing the gas peddle down when it's parked, and it's coasting at around 20-25 mph....

Any ideas on what it could be?

Oh yeah, it's an 84 Cutlass Supreme 231 3.8L

yea, your idle is too high. just adjust the idle screw. have the car run in park and turn it till it sounds normal.
