well here it is guys my first RC car, I found this 64 at toysR' us
it drives forward and back and steers right and left,
I already modded the front and back so it can raise and lock the back
and (hopefully) hop the front. and still steer. not finished yet. still need to
figure out how to add two more switches for the hopping action
I already ordered some parts. to see if it will work.
any ideas or suggestions you may have as to how to do this would be appreciated.
and now some pics.

here it is next to a 1;24 dancer for reference.

back up

thanks for looking.

this one didn't come with the hydros. just the RC functions.
I cut the front and back and hinged it to raise them.
I'm thinkin of using the knot method on the back to lift it
and a motor to hop the front.

yeah it was like 43 bucks.
and it just drives and steers no hydros I'm adding that myself
I'll have a video of it working when its done in a couple of weeks
and it comes with some funki looking stickers I took them off
and foiled it I think it looks better.
this would be perfect for that new set up Jevries is about to come up
with,

i seen these months ago at toy's r us. I searched and searched for info online after i seen them but there was nothing!!

It is indeed the old RS cars, they just stuck a cheap chassis under it.

i think they got the FASTLANE brand stuck to it, that's toy's r us own brand they have.

Problem is that in order to get the hydro's working you need the advanced 8(9) channel PCB that comes with the RS version. If you want to make the car lift the rear and hop the front you need at least 7 channels. I might be able to mod out standard 4 (2)channel PCB to a 9 channel version but it will take a while to get the components.
You can however try an extra PCB with a different frequency I had some succes with it but on a 25% basis...you have to use 2 antenna's so there will be less interference...that is going to be your main problem.
Good luck! ;)

I think Im going to try and use another pcb with diff. frequency
all I need is to more chanels for it to work.
and add it to the one that came with the car. this one runs on 49 mhz
I ordered one with the 27 mhz it might work.
thanks.
If it all fails could I hit you up to make me one.

Use the capicitators coming with the motors (the orange thingies) you can also buy a package at your local RC store (containing three parts). They are an important ingriedient for preventing motor interference...if two of those aren't enough just solder an extra pair on the motor. It will help for sure. ;)
Anothet tip is try to keep the two PCBs a bit seperate from eachother...especially the transmitter ones they tend to give the most interference problems. ;)
