Fixing rear end alignment

When we put my 63 on the lift the other day, I noticed that the entire rear-end seems to have shifted to the left, towards the driver side...there is a notch in the frame where the driveshaft has to go through ( I think) but the shaft is about 2-3 inches to the left of that.

Anyone knows what I mean? Is this a serious problem, and if so, how do I fix it?

Thanks in advance

13x7" reversed rims = 155/80-13 tires
14x7" reversed rims = 175/70-14 tires

those combinations dont rub on classic impalas unless you're running skirts.
that really depends on the car, my 14x7's with 175/70's rubbed on the passenger side when lowered :(

really depends on the car, i ran 14s and 13s on my ride and never rubbed, even with skirts as for the panhand bar my friend has one on his 66 and im not sure if he shortened it an inch or half an inch and it fixed the problem

i am guessing he is talking about a 64 type rear end ...

cause if i ride with a bunch of peeps in my back seat, my tires rub the fender well ... so heres a clue get some heavier springs than stock ...maybe even a sling shot rear end.

and when every ones out doing tha damn thang ... i will be laying and playin ...hopefully ...

after all it's only as fast as you can afford to go ...

guess every rim has a little bit different offset...
