We're about to start wrapping the x-frame of my boys wagon and are planning
on a homemade full-wrap

basic welding knowledge is at hand but we're affraid that the frame is gonna
start twisting and warping due to preasure, heat and weight while we weld

this is gonna be our very first wrap so let us know about your experiences
when you did your very first wrap-job

oh and yes we know bout all them previous topics on frame-wrapping

problem is that they (as far as I remember) were all about like where to wrap

and what to use but nothing ever been said about how to prevent warping....

If you got welding experience that should be no problem, just work your way systematicly over the whole frame. And don't go too long at a time. There's no real risk the frame is getting warped as long as you know what you're doing. Inside - outside - bottom side - up side - let it cool off a bit - repeat.
Mold it up real nice and blow black shit out your nose for the next 2 weeks. :biggrin:

well when we were in Vegas at Black Magic, the shop owner told us that
even he did fuck up his very first frame. That's why we have respect for
the work...

In vegas they said that they start one end of the X doing the top and then move
to the direct opposite doing the bottom so that it kind of sort of stretches / warps
back and forth leveling out again

first of all we gonna measure the frame before we begin and at the moment
we're thinking about putting it up on a wodden base with like 4 points where the frame
lays on. Plan is to bolt those wodden jackstands directly to the ground. That way it
should be possible to notice it immediately when the frame warps cause then it's
gonna lift off one of the points where it lays on the stands

- You should have respect for it. And go slow until' you get the hang of it.

energy suspension parts some time ago while you were doing your frame

Can you tell us where you got it from ? We've been searching the web
but had no luck sofar.... All we know is that you can't get it directly from
their website :uh:

J/K bro, I got 'em at a local street race shop here in stockholm, check with some local race stores, they will be able to get those for you.
