dont know if its been posted...just tryin to help everybody out...i got this from the caltrans website...
From Los Angeles and Santa Barbara Counties:
(Approximately 2 hrs and 10 min to Barstow)
Take SR-14 east for approximately 35 miles to SR-138, Take SR-138 for approximately 18 miles to SR-18, Continue on SR-18 for approximately 24 miles to the I-15 in Victorville.
From Orange County and South Bay area:
(Approximately 4 hrs and 20 min to Barstow)
Take SR-91 east to I-215 north (SR-91 becomes I-215 north), Take I-215 north for approximately 6 miles to I-10 east, Take I-10 east for approximately 45 miles to SR-62 north, Take SR-62 north for approximately 21 miles to SR-247 north, Take SR-247 north for approximately 80 miles to the I-15 in Barstow
You may also take SR-247 north to SR-18 west to Apple Valley and Victorville.
From San Diego:
(Approximately 4 hrs and 40 min to Barstow)
Take I-15 north to I-215 north, Take I-215 north for approximately 40 miles to I-10 east, Take I-10 east for approximately 45 miles to SR-62 north, Take SR-62 north for approximately 21 miles to SR-247 north, Take SR-247 north for approximately 80 miles to the I-15 in Barstow
You may also take SR-247 north to SR-18 west to Apple Valley and Victorville.
From Riverside and San Bernardino Counties:
(Approximately 3 hrs 20 mins to Barstow)
Take I-10 east to SR-62 north, Take SR-62 north for approximately 21 miles to SR-247 north, Take SR-247 north for approximately 80 miles to the I-15 in Barstow
You may also take SR-247 north to SR-18 west to Apple Valley and Victorville

I-10 is an interstate freeway
SR-14 east is a freeway system with several lanes and easy access from I-5.
I-15 North is an interstate freeway, several lanes available.
SR-18 east is a paved highway with 2-4 lanes.
SR-62 North portions through Morongo Valley is a divided highway. The remaining portion of the highway is paved however, it is rural.
SR-91 is a freeway system with several lanes, including carpool and fastrak toll lanes. SR-138 east is a divided highway through the Palmdale region. The remaining portion is a paved highway with 2-4 lanes.
I-215 is an interstate freeway.
SR-247 is a paved rural road
