check your lower A-Arms, A-Arm bushing, check your frame "belly area where engine sits and arms attach" look for frame cracks and pay close attention. to prevent it from happening is to make it stronger. i have 88 caprice with reinforced frame "not wrapped" with reinforced A-Arms, i have the same issue and noticed that my unplated belly part where the notor mounts and lower A-Arms mount started to crack. this happend after hopping the shit out of it , and locking the front wheels up while cruising thru michigan potholes made it worse.. good luck to you and hope someone with more knowledge could help.
