Need to rebuild my hinges but all the kits I have found only come with pins and bushings.. I need the detent roller as well.. Anyone know where to find a complete kit. I noticed that some places on ebay have the a-body hinge kits that come with the roller and looks like it can be modified to work on G-body.. Also any help or suggestions on adjusting the doors would be helpfull as well. Thanks

I had the same problem and spent 220 on new gm hinges. i need to do the same thing on my cadillac but i was looking on my 2011 chevy truck and thought about choping up a newer hinge and cut the old roller off
and modifying the old hinge to take the newer roller. i just havent been to the junk yard yet to find newer hinges

Ya im thinking about hitting the junkyard to fing a g-body and A-body to compare the upper hinges to see if that rebuild kit will work.. Kinda thinking about chroming the hinges so I might get a set from the junkyard to tear down , crome then rebuild.. I'll hit you up if I need those tools thanks

Id look for a newer vehicle so you get parts that will last longer. on my truck looks like an easy thing to do if you can weld

Well the g-body kits say they are for both G and A . But like you said only come with the pins and bushings. But there are A-body kits that include the detent-rollers. They just look like they have a long sleeve over the pin that i might be able to shorten .. Idk we'll see.. I've got the door straightened up now and latching properly for now..
