gonna put bags in my linc this weekend the only concern i have is the gas tank sits lower than my frame and im thinkin that if i lay it down its gonna drag the gas tank and the shits gonna hit the fan..should a go buy a skid plate like trucks have a bolt it over the tank and drag the mother fucker or just make it so it doesnt lay frame? just dont wanna blow myself to bits

A skid plate made out of 1/4"-steel should do the trick and definitely will not hurt. And it will definitely be loud enough to remind you to pick that ass up.

That tank isn't moving much further up. And I don't see him going with a fuel cell. In that case, since it IS the low-point, at least put a skid plate under it. A busted gas tank is a major bitch!!!

ya boom is the sound i dont wanna hear lol maybe ill go with a fuel cell a lil later but if not ill make it sit higher if i can.i dont know wat im gonna do yet maybe it wont even go low enough we'll hvae to see after the weekend.....

i have a 84 linc towncar ya my bad it was the trunk floor that i was thinkin of not a big deal at all....well baggin her in 2 days.ill post pics after....oh more problem solved
