It is difficult to get Imperial sized air pipe over here in England (which is ridiculous because we are not totally metric over here, despite what you might think). 216RIDER used 5/32" air pipe for his gauge lines with 1/8" fittings/adapters for the increased pipe size.

Would I be able to use 1/8" air pipe for my gauges and not use the adapters, or doesn't 1/8" air pipe exist. If it does exist, would the pipe be large enough to be effective.

I like the idea of tapping an adapter into the T-pieces right up by the air tank.

I presume that all the sizes we talk about are American sizes. Forget the imperial bit, I presumed that American sizes were imperial!

Right, can I use American 1/8" line for my gauges instead of 5/32"?

Failing the 1/8" idea, I wonder if I could tap a 1/4" fitting into a 1/2" T-piece to run 1/4" lines to my gauges?

I intend to stick to USA fittings, lines and gauges all the way through .

The only question remaining is if a 1/2" T-piece is large enough physically to tap a 1/4" fitting into it.

My set up (inspired by 216RIDER's set up) would be: 1/4" fittings tapped into the main T-piece after the inflation solenoid, 1/4" lines to the gauges, then 1/4" fittings on the backs of the gauges :cheesy:.
