GAUGES

electric gauges utilize a sending unit per gauge, while mechanical gauges are usually a "all in one" assembly..

ie- oil pressure sensor will have:
sending unit(pressure sensor) if electric
small hose that goes from oil pressure source to the actual gauge

i ran mechanical gauges in my car for now... just something to get it up and running with, i plan on upgrading to autometer electric gauges later on..(knocks on wood)
