3.50 a foot :0 damn, i got it for $1.25 per foot at the parker store, but I bought a 100feet stainless steel.
Depending on the voltage you use, with 24volts you can use .025 with all the bends you want. I had several 180degree bends using .025. Any voltage higher, use .049 Just make sure your flares are 100% perfect if you use flare type fittings, for 3/8"
I've seen pricing all over the board for .049 Stainless. I made the mistake of buying 60 feet of some stuff for $1.75 a foot, and it wouldn't polish at all, didn't flare well, and appered to be seamed. Finally I found the stuff I'm using, but for a pretty big price increase. So far I only have 60' of hardline in my car, so that's only an extra $100.00... nothing worth stressing over. It's well worth it for something that polishes so well, and I know will last forever.
get it from a parker store, their stainless steel polishes out like chrome and lasts I polished my steel once when I did the setup in 1998, it still looked like chrome in 2002 when I took everything out
