i have 2 batt. a 200 amp isolator and a 70 alt. the batt. in the trunk is a optima batt. on a 1.2 cap. n the cap read 13.5 does that mean i need to upgrade my alternator i was told it should be at 14.4 volts for max from my amp or what help please

13.5V nomial is fine. Considering your car is on, things are taking up some voltage, if it reads 13.5V when you have the stereo cranked, you are doing fine.

Do the big 3, use bigger wire, buy a h/o alt and add batteries...

OR the other BIG 3

Upgrade wiring..

Atleast 4 AWG high quality wire and connectors..

Battery to chassis ground, alternator to battery, engine to chassis ground.

Makes a bigger difference than you think.

I guess I should have numbered them...

I was listing FOUR things for him to do, not explaining the big 3... :cheesy:
