He shows pics of the chassis, that might be a good place to start. I don't know much about making a hopper but it looks fun as hell
Also, check out hopper_Ali's website, has a diagram on the suspension and wiring the switches... Also, do a search on this forum, theres alot of pictures to help you out....

hey, call me ali ;)
iight lol i ant to sure about attempting to make a h/w hopper , how does the string work ? whats the string do ?
iight lol , what does the string do , how does that make the car hop and if the motor shaft is spinning , wouldnt it get all tangled up ?
the idea is for the string to wrap around the shaft, then when the car hits the ground again, that force will cause the string to unwind, here's a pic that should help you out

oh ok cool , i was thinkin that , just wasnt to sure , and so ya dont need to modify the back wheels ? also is it possible to do a 3 wheel ??
that diagram is the same for front and back, with two motors of course. You can't three wheel with just 2 motors, you will have to have four.

Ah, yes. This is true. Hell you could use 2 motors and three wheel...but that'd be the only move you could do

and ya can do this in a hotwheels hpooer ? from the small space that ya have ya can put 2 motors in?? how would i rig it up for a 3 wheel ??
I did a HW caravan with 3 HO motors...it sucked...it didn't go side2side very easy overall handling sucked.
The 2 HO motor Revell Impala however rocked pops in the air four of the ground and can also use the knot tech in the back so you lift it keep it up and hop the front. ;)

Okay, okay, but next time clearly state that it has to do with HW okay? ;)

Trav doesn't have his broadband connection anymore for whatever reason....I see and talk to him every once in a while but he's a busy man. ;)
