The overall topic is "taking a stand"; my topic for the fair is going to deal with the lowrider community taking a stand against the illegal prosecution from the police for cruising on the Blvd. I would like to know if any of you could help by posting helpful websites, news paper articles, magazine articles, or by sharing stories of your encounters with the police on the Blvd. particularly Whittier Blvd. I am only interested with information from the past (30s-80s) not the 90s-00s. I’d like to thank you all in advance for your help.
