hittin a 3 on air

a wanna say a little of both. i can bust 3 fairly easy in my hearse when i turn. but i'm running the 13" bags out back. if i'm chilling at like 175 psi and drop a back bag i can lift my front wheel off the ground by hand.

Can you chain bridge on air??

When I try droppin a back corner I still can't raise the front tire like you said. But I don't have the hieght like you have. And I think the front is WAY heavier than the back. I'm still workin on an upgrade on bags so maybe that'll make a difference. The slam 7's are supposed to get 11 inches which is at least 2 inches more than my firestone 2600's.

how much pressure u runnin?

Max around 225, and that's most of the time now that it's not my daily anymore. I need at least 150 to get it up in front, and it gives me a few more inches around 200. Of course the back goes up easy as hell.

u might need taller cups in the front. if should take that much air to get the front up. mine i can drive at like 90ish. i normally drive at 100. not to low not to high. my back goes up high as hell at even 100. so i know how u feel

I wonder what would happen if you tried to put a 13 inch bag in the front? You would have to rework the cups to change the angles so that it doesnt bow out as much as a front bag normally does. Im guessing that is the reason they advertise them for use in the rear only. The way they are made, they like to expand upward so by forcing them to bend I wonder what would happen. Would definitely help is getting the front up nice and high.

i'd do extend ur cups first before droppin money on new bags.

Yeah, I was thinking about extending the cups. I would have to decide which I really want, to go high or to still lay frame. I'm already changing the bags to slams, mainly for the higher presure reasons and a little extra lift. I got a 93 towncar, so if I find out what it takes to hit 3 I'll let you know.

it wont get it any higher than a normal bag

An 8in bag will basically extend the front end all the way. I would Get some nice check valves for the front valves, Chain the rear end, Place a litte weight on it and see what happens.. I could take my old cutty and jack up the front and my back left corner and the dump my front left and hit it back up and it would damn near hit the back bumper from the 3 wheel, but then would go right back down because there was no weight or chains.

I run slams 6 in the front and 7 in the rear and i have no problem pullin a moving 3 in my 66 cutlass not chains but i do have nitrogen tank in the rear I cant do a standing i can lift my car with only 70 poulds and 115 will lock me up the rear only take 60 pounds to lock up

Wouldnt get any higher unless you modify things a little, but it will let you lay it out and still get the max lift. You have to cut the cups more to get the drop to lay frame and with the higher lift of these bags you can still get back to full ride height.

main thing to worry about is making sure you have enough air pressure built up in your 2 corner bags.. Cuz if not the car will squat when you try to 3 wheel..

ive seen quite a few euros hitting rear 3s, but never a rear wheel drive car 3in on air. can be done im sure but alot of work

My homie gots an 85 monte carlo and hits it rollin, maybe the cars lighter than my lincoln. He's only running firestone 2500 and max around 160 psi......damn him!!!! :biggrin:
