lol at the people saying that sub is shit. . . 161 dbs @ 10 HZ . . your not going to do that on a ordinary sub.

Rchard Clark is the man and he owns all of us in Car Audio.

The never (revised) setup is powered by 4 GE Industrial 25,000 watt amplifiers. The added power gave him the 1db difference and the sub is now 6' in diameter.

I like new and different ideas and all, but I would expect it to be louder than 161dbs. Don't take that as hate, just saying that cars are hitting damn near that with a lot less wattage and smaller subs.

...am I missing something here?

Your definately missing something lol . . .

Take into consider that that sub is hitting 161 db's at 10 hertz. Thats is SUPER low. Thats 161 dbs of Bass that you cant even hear. Its basically just air pressure hitting the mic hard enough to meter at 161.

The sub isnt designed as a daily driver, take any sub over 18"'s and see what it meters at if powered correctly. Audiobahn cant hit shit with their 34" sub, clarion cant hit shit with their 32" sub, If im not mistaken Peavy made a 28" Concept sub that couldnt do it as well.

You're missing the "10 hertz" part. ;)

Sure, people can pull over 160 dB's...at 50+ hertz. But at 10 hertz...who cares about hearing it. God knows 10 hertz FEELS like?!
