If you want to put anything over 3.5 tons you better do some serious frame work!! Especially 4.5 ton coils, they are stiff as hell for a G-body, but they work pretty good for double pump G-body's!!

thanks timmy...

P.S. if you have a virgin frame... and not reinforced frame... I wouldn't go over 3 1/2... 3 ton would be the ideal... However... if you have a partial reinforcement I would go 3.5's... if you have the belly done and ears reinforced then I would recommend going to anything higher than 3.5's... If you have a reinforcement over the belly without getting the belly stretch... you can go higher... other than that...

v8=3.5's won't last long... especially if you bottom out the car... probably... less than a month? well hopping every weekend that is LOL

I JUST got my 4.5 in my big body caddy - nothin done to the frame - yet - (lot's of time - it's still cold)
big body frames suck... you better get that frame reinforced before you put those coils in and start trying to hop it... or play with the switch. but hey, its your car not mine so I will not say anything more concerning this. :)

3.5-4.5... either one will work... sometimes the 3.5's work best and sometimes the 4.5's work best... the cutty we had that meme hopped for us had 3.5's...87 inches at the end...

what's up homie...

if you have a v8 car... your 3.5 ton coils won't last you much if you bottom out the car while hopping and if you are hopping like crazy every weekend...
