Alright here's my problem. My rearend isnt lifting. I checked my fluid levels, checked my seals any body know what else is going on. Judging from other topics I think it may be the key. Is the key the same thing as the gears?? and if not where are the gears located and can they be replaced. Is the key located inside the motor and if it is how do I remove the motor. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

teh motor is held on by two 7/16 bolts that run from one end of hte motor to hte pump block

remove the 7/17 bolts they are more like a long threaded rod.

but dont pull them out of the motor.

carfully remove the motor it will consist of 3 parts a backing plate the motor case and a front plate. make sure you dont let the 3 pieces seperate.

now between the motor and the block there is a key it is about 2 inches long

Wow, that's really nice of you to answer such a simple question. People who aren't mechanically inclined shouldn't have hydraulics.(just cuz all of the work you put into em'.) I didn't have Layitlow back in the days I was tearin my pumps apart!
