not that hard if you know how to use a trim saw, a pencil, a tape measure, and a square, so long as you can cut straight lines along those pencil marks......
i wouldn't trust home depot to make your cuts...that saw they use is usually out of square.Originally posted by shredder130@Aug 6 2005, 10:45 AM~3551876
or if you are lazy like me, you'll use a box building program and let home depot cut the wood to size, also a 8 foot long piece of mdf fits so much nicer in my car that way.....
thats the extent of what i let them cut, just get it in half to fit in the back of my truck.Originally posted by 1ofaknd@Aug 6 2005, 09:50 AM~3551885

maybe just have em cut the sheet in half and not use the cut side, lol.
if your truck can't haul a 4x8 sheet of wood..then it's not a REAL truck :cheesy:Originally posted by draarong2004@Aug 6 2005, 03:43 PM~3552743

i'm sorry, for those that have to be "technically correct" its an ford explorer, and i don't feel like folding down all the back seats to see how long of a piece of wood i can haul.Originally posted by 1ofaknd@Aug 6 2005, 06:49 PM~3553665

A full sheet works in an Explorer but you can't close the glass.Originally posted by draarong2004@Aug 6 2005, 09:20 PM~3554214

which is why i have them cut it down, that back window costs a lil too much for it to just bounce off the back of the truck because the road construction round here, and i didn't want to cut the piece of wood in halfOriginally posted by quadmasta@Aug 7 2005, 09:38 AM~3555810
