Im getting ready to order bags for my 79 cutlass and i was wondering if anybody knew how much travel my suspension gets? Id like to get bags that will give me the most lift or travel like from laid out up 8 9 or 10 inchs but im not sure if it would bet worth it to have bags that have 10inchs of travel up front if the car wont even travel that much. What would you guys recommend for bags im thinking of going with slams im not sure who offers the most lift thanks alot

there's a 13" bag, but it's only for rear applications. As for the front, HS Slams up front will do you right.

like mark said, a normal bag should lock up your front, you can get those 13" lift bags, i have only heard good things about them, or you could mount the bags on the trailing arms to get a little bit more lift, but i am not sure how strong the arms are if they will be able to take the bag pushing on them, but for the most lift in the rear, the 13" lift bags over the axle will get you the most unless you mount the bags to the arms.

the trailing arm cross member wont alow them to be monted on the arms
I've got Slams up front and the 13"s in the back and thats about the limit for a stock G-Body. You can go higher but you'll need to shorten your driveline and extend your upper trailing arms.
how many inchs of travel will i be able to get outta the car? Do you have anymore pics of some similar cars and how much travel they get like fron tup back down and vice versa? do yo know how well it will hit sideways? sorry for all the ?s thanks for the help and input
