How much would nice kandy paint cost for my lincoln, its a 1996 lincoln towncar

the color of the car now is silver, Can I paint over this paint and use the silvet as a basecoat, or do I have to repaint everything

Having the candy sprayed isn't a problem, My friends a really good body man, I just need the paint

what color do you think would look best on my car. It has a very light tan interior
I would really like to twotone the car if possible

if its factory paint ,scuff with green pad,if not strip the car and apply a good 2k primer then proceed with paint .as fer kandin over your silver dont do it ,thats asking for trouble use a good paint(house of kolor)and use that from base to ckear they have the highest uv resistance in the industry meaning they wont fade as fast .here i spend anywhere from $500-$650 on paint for a luxery car but its money well spent . btw dont use house of kolors guidelines for amount of paint necceary they always seem to add 2 quarts to every thing they try to sell  www.houseofkolor.com
