i plan on gettin my 1993 cadillac sedan deville ready for the booth myself...my question is what about the front fenders b/c there plastic do i go about sanding them as if they were metal...im pretty ignorant to body work so if someone could help me out that be great

are they all chiped up or something? cause you basically want to use your old paint job for base if you can, you dont want to sand it all off or you'll be there forever. Have you ever wet sanded before?

sand them down with something like 220, then do the 400 and 600. prep them with some good primer and shoot the base on it.

paints fucked so thats not an option yea i've wetsanded i believe orange answered my question i jus didnt know how to approach it and what grit....being plastic and all
