Are hydraulic motors just a starter motor that can handle more voltage??

pretty much...just higher quality parts...still a 12v motor

yep thats why u can bring them to places which rebuild starters, and theyll fix them, now makes me wish I still had my old motors, before I through them in the trash,LOL
